Started playing vladmir

So I just bought vlad and he's pretty fun, almost un-killable after level 10. So far, I've been following this guide on how to build, and play him.

Anything I should change in regards to this guide?

It needs CDR. Badly. His masteries miss out on the 6% from the utility tree, although defense tree isn't bad for Vlad. Try early revolver, CDR boots, spirit visage, deathcap into defenses. CDR Blues too.

I find the only CDR he needs is from his boots. Other than that, he can get items that really go well with him, like a Rylais and what not.

I'm not sure if i agree with Snorty on the boots. Ultimately, I believe the magic pen boots serve a bigger advantage. They will give you enough to get more than the average amount of magic resist which give you that extra ammount of "burst." His spells aren't that long of a CD, and you can always pick up a Morellos Tome or blue buff (assuming a carry or support doesn't need) - and if you get fed, theres always a Megi's Soulstealer.

But playing CDR vlad is very effective, I guess it just comes down to personal preference; I'll use
